Today, Tuesday, 1/10/23, at 2:00 PM, I went to Pro Shred located in Elmsford to drop off two bags of papers. I was not aware that they did not accept cash or Apple Pay.

I am a first time customer, so I did not know the payment method. Met with Lamont, who explained they did not accept cash, however, he did look into the Apple Pay. This is when I met with Steven, who, like Lamont, spoke in a friendly and professional manner. Steven explained an alternative way, which I’d gladly accepted. Overall, the friendly and professional service I received from Steven in Lamont was exceptional. Thank you very much!

Thank you PROSHRED for letting me witness the shredding of my hard drives. I was shopping for prices there is only 2 companies that will do it Proshred and Urban Technologies but Urban Technologies does not let you witness the shredding you just drop them and they take care of it. Unfortunately, with all the fraud going on I was a little bit uneasy in dropping my hard drives (9 of them). They were a tiny bit cheaper but peace of mind was truly important to me so I went with PROSHRED. My appointment was schedule for 2 pm. I arrive 20 minutes earlier and met Terry Dana the branch manager a great manager not only he took me right away but he show me every hard drive being shredded, his kindness and concern were most welcome, and the entire staff is amazing Cindy Able on the phone and the other Cindy at the desk. Also they truly care about their customers because a gentleman came in while I was paying my bill and they ask him to stay outside for a few minutes till I was finish we are living in the Covid Era. I truly appreciate this company and highly recommend it to anyone that truly want to witness the shredding of their important info. This company is manage by a great manager. I pulled up 20 minutes before they closed and the manager, Hector, came out and unloaded three giant rolling containers from my car!! They came out just as scheduled. The guy was great. We had way more than he expected but he was able to squeeze our extra into the truck. When you are ordering this service, understand that a bankers box is the letter sized not the legal size. Then they can give you a better estimate for your job. Not only was Tara grear, but when the guys showed up to do the shredding, they were professional, friendly, confident, and hard-working. Everything went as planned straight through the payment. I would refer anyone to this company at any time, because I feel comfortable that they did a good job for me and would do a good job forgrade,

No Surprises! Their estimate of price was right on point as well as the estimate of how many paper boxes would fill a bin. I had one bin of paper shredded and 5 old cell phones. They arrived within the window provided and the driver was professional. I received the certificate of shredding along with the serial numbers of the cell phones just as promised. Wow. This seemed too good to be true. They stuck to the price they said they would charge and the service was incredibly fast and easy. The technician that came out to collect the documents was extremely patient with us and helped us remove papers from binders that we didn't see hidden in the boxes. The window was from 8am to 10am and they got here at exactly 8am. Also, they stuffed the bins they used to the very top and filled every nook and cranny; they didn't just lightly fill them to make more money. I would proudly recommend this service to anyone looking to shred multiple documents.

Customer service is great and the price to shred is very reasonable. I like that this is a locally owned company. However, please note that the photos and maps are inaccurate. The location has moved and it is now located in an industrial park just north of Commercial Boulevard and west of Northwest 33rd Avenue. Google Maps took me to the old location first, and then some other location which was inaccurate. But a quick phone call to Pro Shred put me in touch with an employee that was very helpful and talking me through the directions on how to get there. Hopefully Google will update the map and directions soon.

I needed a mobile shredding service - I called them at 11.15 this morning, on the offchance they MIGHT be able to get someone over here to shred some papers (wasn't very hopeful though, figured you'd have to request at least 24 hours in advance)..... requested a quote through yelp, got a response within 5 minutes, called and spoke to Hany - he said someone would be here this afternoon - said normally their scheduled time in this area was Monday but he'd make it happen - which was great. He said sometime this afternoon - ..I figured oh well, there's my afternoon gone - I'd have to wait around for them to come - guess what - at 1 pm, the driver called to say they would be here shortly, 1.15 they were here, 1.20 the shredding was done - how amazing is that! Within TWO HOURS of my initial email to them!!! They charge $95 for a full "bin" of paper - which is 7 bankers boxes - unfortunately I only had 5 boxes worth, but oh well, it was still worth the $95. EXCELLENT service - this is years old bank statements and file folders and junk that I just could NOT face sitting and putting through the home shredder. Thank you for outstanding service!!!

When I booked the appointment I requested a time and confirmed it when I got the call back from ProShred one day prior. On the morning of the job I got a call from the driver telling me he was within 30 minutes of me, problem was that it was 3 1/2 hours earlier than I'd requested + the job was at my father in law's home about 20 mins away. Anyway, all's well that ends well. We met the driver and the job done quickly, efficiently and given the visibility of the bin being tipped inside (via LED screen outside) and contents shredded before our eyes, impressively. I checked back on the original confirming email which did suggest I should call back to confirm a specific time. There was the hangup, the driver did not have my time on his route schedule. I had twice referenced 2pm on the original order and prior day confirmation, someone should have taken note and updated the route driver's schedule. Not a big deal because it worked but something for you to assess on your procedures.
