Keller Shredding

Keller was settled in the early 1850’s, and became a stop along the Texas-Pacific Railway, and was named after a foreman on the railroad, John C Keller. The wooded region began attracting many settlers because of its close proximity to the Trinity River. The abundance of water and land enabled the cattle and farming industries to flourish. Keller was incorporated in 1955.
