FAQ
We use a 95gal. bin to measure and price. It holds approximately 300-330lb paper. This equates to 10 standard banker file boxes or approximately 5-6 legal double size drawer style banker boxes.
Many clients that store documents don’t always fill every file box. Why pay a per box charge if they are only partially filled.
A Certificate of Destruction is the formal document that shows that paperwork was shredded and has been destroyed to meet all Federal and State privacy law requirements.
NAID AAA certification is the information destruction industry’s certification for the highest level of security and safety procedures. While companies can just pay for membership to this organization, when they have been certified they have been inspected, audited and are held to a higher standard of security.
ISO 9001:2008 is an international certification where companies are audited, inspected and must prove that they are continually striving to improve their performance and procedures. Proshred® is proud to be the only onsite information destruction company in the USA with this added certification.
When you shred in-house, you are not using your time to grow your business, you are buying and maintaining equipment and, most importantly, there is no proof you are complying with the latest legislation. When you use Proshred® you are letting us do what we do best and allowing you and your company to do what you do best.
Proshred® Southern New Jersey uses state-of-the-art industrial shredding trucks to destroy your documents. This means that unlike your in-house office or home shredder, there is no need to remove those pesky paperclips or staples.
Shredding on-site provides the most secure chain-of-custody. You can follow your documents to the truck and watch them being shredded. When paper is shredded off-site you have no control over who is seeing and handling your sensitive documents.
